Drywall Repair in Western Kentucky & Southern Indiana

Holes, cracks, damaged corners and sections that need replacing, patched and blended so the wall reads as one — in Owensboro and all around it.

A house doesn't have to be old to develop cracks and popped nails. The Ohio River valley runs humid summers into wet springs and cold winters, and that swing moves a house enough, year after year, to open up seams that were taped tight when the drywall went in, and to push nail heads back through the paint. Add a door that gets slammed, a piece of furniture moved wrong, or a corner that takes a hit from a dolly in a commercial hallway, and most homes and businesses in Owensboro, Henderson, Madisonville, Evansville and Newburgh end up with a spot or two that needs patching sooner or later.

Deny repairs holes, cracks, popped nails and damaged corners in homes and commercial spaces, patching the section and blending the finish so it disappears into the wall around it rather than standing out as an obvious patch. Some repairs are a single spot; others are a section of wall that's damaged enough to cut out and replace outright. Either way, it starts with a free estimate — send a photo of the damage by WhatsApp or text to (618) 971-8126 and Deny can tell you what it needs before ever showing up.

What's included

Small repairs like a hole from a doorknob or a nail pop get cut back to solid edges, patched with a piece of drywall or a repair clip behind the hole, taped and mudded in coats, then sanded flush with the rest of the wall. Cracks, usually along a seam or in a corner, get the old tape and mud removed, re-taped and re-coated so the crack doesn't just show back up through fresh mud. Damaged corner bead gets pulled off and replaced with a straight piece. Anything too far gone to patch — a section soft or crumbling — gets cut out clean and a new piece of drywall goes in its place, taped and finished to match the wall around it.

How we work

Send a photo

Text or WhatsApp a photo of the hole, crack or damaged corner to (618) 971-8126.

Free estimate

Deny looks at the damage, in person or from the photos, and gives a free estimate for the repair.

Patch and finish

The damaged area gets cut back, patched or replaced, then taped, mudded and sanded to match the wall around it.

Walk through

Deny checks the repair with you once it's sanded, so it reads as part of the wall, not a patch.

Drywall Repair by city

A basement finished in Owensboro, a plaster house converted in Evansville, a cracked ceiling seam in Madisonville and a builder's whole house in Newburgh each need a different plan — and we handle all four.

Common questions

Can you match a repair to the texture already on my wall?
Deny finishes the patch to blend with the surface around it as closely as the existing wall allows.
My wall has a crack that keeps coming back after I patch it myself. Can that be fixed for good?
Usually that means the old tape is loose or the crack is still moving. Deny removes the old tape and mud and re-does it properly so it holds.
Do you repair drywall in commercial buildings, like a hallway or office?
Yes. Deny repairs drywall damage in homes and in commercial spaces, from a single dinged corner to a damaged section of wall.
Is a small hole a quick fix, or does it need the same steps as a big repair?
A small hole still needs a backer, tape and a few coats of mud so it holds and blends in, but it's a much smaller job than replacing a section.
